Middlesbrough Tees Pride 10k
"As the Tees Pride 10k continues to grow in stature, with over 2,400 entries last September, the race must now be established as one of the major 10k road races in the country.
The race has really helped to raise the profile of the town; it is attracting more and more runners from all over the UK and beyond. They must surely be returning home with nothing but praise for the town, the event and the people.
One of the most pleasing aspects is the excellent feedback I receive each year from people of all abilities, from the elite athlete to those taking part in their first ever road race. There is fantastic vocal support all around the course, I for one am overwhelmed by the crowds, not only do they help the runners get round the course but also make each one feel proud of their achievement.
The live entertainment at the athletes village as well as the bands that play around the flat one lap course makes it an event not to missed.
Make sure you don’t miss out and apply today."

“I have been really impressed how the Middlesbrough Tees Pride 10k race has grown in just two years. It’s one of the fastest 10k races for serious runners and a good distance for fun runners.
Almost anyone with some training can manage 10k. I can see the race growing and growing and the tremendous support of the people of Middlesbrough around the course has made it a race that I would want to keep competing in.”
